Why use caution when working with Immortelle Essential Oil?
Immortelle essential oil is well known for its anticoagulant properties. It is wonderful to use on bruises, except while on blood thinners.
Therefore HUGE caution when working with those who are in Palliative/End-of-Life Care.
A friend used Immortelle Essential oil on a bruise while she was on the blood thinner, Warfarin, (coumadin) which is perhaps the most well-known anticoagulant. It works by slowing down the body’s process of creating clots. So knowing this information she used the essential oil diluted in coconut oil for a couple of weeks then went for blood tests which showed her blood had thinned down to dangerous levels.
