Helping Families Reclaim Death
Doing Deathcare Differently helps the dying, their families, and the caregivers who support them participate in end transitions that are personal, graceful, and made with minimal regrets.
In the period of illness, or upon receiving a terminal diagnosis, families and the dying loved one can be overwhelmed and grief-stricken. They may feel afraid and out of control.
This is where I come in.
I support and assist the dying person and their families and friends through the final stages, the decision making and post death arrangements. I objectively advocate for, guide and help advise throughout the dying process and the post death period. My place is to sit with you in the chaos, help you with your choices, and be your guide.
Even before there’s a health crisis, I can help you plan your wishes in advance. Standard hospital care and funerals are not the only options.
For caregivers, I provide inspired support and education that give you practical options to personalize your care while relieving your own stress. My unique program, Sacred Aromas & Essential Oils was developed just for you.
We often think about support for events like weddings and births but I think support with death is just as important.

Thank you for providing us with such wonderful support. It really helped our challenging family dynamics. You created room for us to really honour our own feelings. I appreciated your warmth and kindness when you provided us with ideas, suggestions and guidance.

I have found as a caregiver that ritual is very important in my practice. It allows me to grieve and work through the dying journey in a way that keeps my emotional wellness intact. From preparing the resident for the funeral home to take over care, to covering the resident with our Hospice Sunflower blanket, to taking apart the residents chart, all these actions big and small, enhance my ability to honor the deceased and begin the grieving process.
